Can I have a motion to recommend approval of direct introduction items one through 11 and item 14 on page one by the same roll call vote as was applied to determine quora. All the person Martin sew moves hearing no objections. So ordered turning to page two. Can I have a motion to recommend approval of all direct introduction of ordinances on page to buy the same roll call vote as was applied to determine quorum. So moved older person cannot stand hearing no objections. So ordered turning to page three. Our final direct introduction is an ordinance amending Municipal Code section, 948-2050 and Associated means without Provisions regarding requirements for Intercity buses and penalties for non-compliance introduced by Mary Townson. We have different Levine Deputy Corporation counsel for the from the Department of Law present to speak on the ordinance as well as Tom Carney Commissioner of Chicago Department of Transportation Thomas, Doran Chief assistant Corporation counsel Legal Information and prosecution division Department of Law. Matthew lanyard manager of Emergency Management Services office of emergency management and communication. Thank you. Good morning, Sharon members, Jeff Levine dy-corp council department of law on November 16th the city council passed an ordinance that creates a if you will an approval requirement for Intercity buses for the sole purpose of creating predictability and orderliness as far as one such buses will be arriving in the city. There's no fee associated with it. It's simply a requirement that they notify the city ahead of time when they're coming and to what location as I said that was passed on the 16th since that time there has proven. Your lack of compliance with that requirement. And so this ordinance simply adds an impoundment. Option as a way to better encourage compliance impoundment is a fairly common remedy in the municipal code for other similar Vehicles related violations, and so I would simply close by asking for a favorable recommendation from the committee. Thank you. This is a matter of minor correction. Mr. Enoch is not with us. We actually have Glenn Lyman deputy director at oumc. Thank you very much Jeff. Does anyone have any questions concerning this ordinance? If I were present when this would be C PD would be all riding the citations. Yes or no more. Okay, so walk me through this so we got our drop site location, right? There we have the location which is where the Maxwell Street absolutely staging area whatever we called it and then but if the bus do not stop there and they say they drop off wherever location. They have to get the CPD with somebody had to be there to catch them. Right if I do I will we know when when they come so I don't cuz if I come in the middle of the night and I just take him to You Know A District or something like that or not, even the district just somewhere.. If that if that happens it would be dependent on CPD being you being able to get there. This is there also have been situations where they have been coming to the drop site, but outside of allowed hours and without providing any heads up to the city and I'm doing that would be impounded Bowl as well. Okay, but in some cases they may get away. Yes, although if the bus information is recorded on a camera the current ordinance enables us to prepare and mail a citation to the company and that enables us to seek the fine. That's in the Ordnance. Okay, but nothing is said of the impoundment and I have another question, but that's okay. I just had a brain cramp. Thank you. Thank you very much. Older men more. Do we have any further questions? In that case. May I have a motion to? Got a cramp is only a moment. So there's no arrest made is it just take the bus and impound the bus, but the drivers themselves is not detained or anything like that, correct? Thank you. Thank you, sir. Sing no further questions may have a motion to recommend approval of item one on page 3 by the same roll call vote as was applied to determine quorum. Alderperson Martin sew moves hearing no objections so ordered. Thank you very much. Thank you. Let us now turn to page is four and five of the recommended portion of the agenda. Can I have a motion to recommend approval of all recommended ordinances on pages 4 and 5 by the same roll call vote as was applied to determine quorum. So I moved all the person Yancey hearing no objections so ordered. Now we will move two pages 6 through 9 of the agenda with your items that receive no recommendation from City departments. These ordinances were submitted as overrides are on the agenda at the request of the older person or do not require departmental approval with that. May I have a motion to recommend approval of all ordinances on pages 6 through 9 to be passed without a departmental recommendation by the same roll call vote as was applied to determine Quorum ottoman Chico. So moves hearing no objections so ordered we will report these items are at the next regularly scheduled city council meeting with there being no further business before the committee may have a motion to adjourn. I'll give that one to older person cannot send all the person system. So moves all those in favor signify by saying I so be it we are adjourned. Thank you very much.
